A new feature is the notoriety level. I will request that while it shows on all accounts you ONLY use it on Character Accounts. So how does it work
Notoriety
Positive Notoriety is great - no bad consequences will happen to you if you're in positive notoriety. You get your notoriety reduced by helping catch fleeing thieves (without killing them), and generally being a helpful individual.
Negative notoriety is where bad things happen however. You notice the outcome of your actions first at 25% notoriety (-25 points). This is when you first get bounty hunters starting to get sent after you. At first these are weak. Get to 50% notoriety (-50 points) the bounty hunters get stronger. At 75% notoriety (-75 points) your as good as a dead man (or woman) walking.
However all is not lost! If you do start to notice your notoriety going into negative simply try and do good actions, help others. Or not, its your call after all!
So how does the system work
We ask that members only increase or decrease character notoriety within threads where your character has observed a character do something good or bad. So notoriety only gets increased or decreased if someone witnesses the character doing something. If you're playing a NPC in the thread on an OOC account that still counts.
Staff members will increase or decrease notoriety in a thread depending what is happening, and what actions are being taken. Please be aware that staff accounts will NPC bounty hunters.
