Appearance Physical Appearance
Amir has the build of a 14 year old male, not quite hit puberty. His hair is black, messy, and has a permanent streak of white through it - another gift from his circus days. His slender build hides hidden strength however, once being an acrobat at a travelling circus his muscles are powerful, and his grip is sure.
His eyes are a rich brown, and are often an indicator of his mood, or if he's chosen to pull any pranks. They can sparkle in mischief, or seem closed or withdrawn as he gets consumed by thoughts and ideas. This closed off look is soon shrugged off though, replaced with smiles and laughter. Attire
Amir typically wears the traditional journeymans attire, though he has made his own alterations. Given his love of parkour he's altered the robes so they're less likely to snag on trees - the tails falling shorter and shaped more. He's also rarely seen without his pack of special items - at least until he's settled in a spot, then he'll hide it in his quarters. Distinguishing Features
Black hair, white streak running through it
Personality and History Key Traits
Happy, Energetic, Extroverted
Personality
Amir tends to love to laugh, and make others laugh with his antics. He's rarely seen with a frown apart from in private. Caring, and with a zest for life he also tries to see the best in others. Underneath his apparent happy go-lucky nature however is a vicious rage, that bubbles up if someone goes to attack or injure someone he cares about.
Amir will sometimes tell lies, or else twist the truth to get what he wants, especially if he views it as for the greater good. He also enjoys training, especially parkour runs. He loves challenging others to friendly games of 'find the most flags' in an area, but is equally there to try and buoy up a fellow brother or sister feeling down, or like they're no good as an assassin.
His other thing you may need to watch out for is his tendancy to pull pranks on people, generally harmless pranks but none the less. Another thing hidden behind his mischevious happy go lucky nature is intelligence and a curious mind. He loves nothing more then to explore, and his thirst for knowledge is near on unquenchable. Backstory
Amir was born in a small village, with a heritage. In particular a tree, though the tree appeared dead. Amir was one of those boys who loved nothing more then to be running around, climbing everything, exploring everything. He was always warned away from climbing -that- tree however. For years, up until his 11th year the other people of the village had always managed to chase him away from the tree any time he'd started to go near it (and that in itself was a fun game! People chasing him was always fun in his eyes).
When he was almost 12 a terrible storm blew up as he was returning from the fields where he'd taken food to the shepherds. Forced to find a place for shelter from the rain, Amir had climbed up onto that tree, and ended up slipping - falling inside the tree, the taller trees around providing some shelter. With nothing to do he ended up falling asleep as the storm raged on, or maybe that was meant to be. His dreams were odd, golden figures, friendly warm figures seeming to embrace him. Either way as the storm passed and he awoke and emerged from the tree gripping a shard of the wood in his hand he heard shocked gasps.
He was grateful of the circus that came through shortly after, for the stares and mutterings were becoming unbearable. He ran away, joining the circus, and was swiftly trained as an acrobat. Things went south there, as the circus was attacked by templars who'd heard rumours of the boy, and had been raiding various circuses. Managing to escape he ended up running, and kept on running. He was found by assassin's, curled up in a ditch by a road, lips cracked a thin emaciated skeletal figure.
While they were unable to take him to Masyaf - he was nearer to Jerusalem for starters, and that was the assassins direction - they did take him with them, leaving him under Malik's care at the Jerusalem bureau. Survive he did, and when those who found him came back to the bureau, their task finished they took him back to the castle to begin his training.
His life turned into training to fight, and to free run (this was something he excelled at). It was free running that became his true passion, and he was often seen whooping and laughing as he ran over the roofs of Masyaf.
Such was how he lived, training, honing his skills for many years. Al Mualim was destroyed Altair took over, still he trained. His apparent lack of aging was what was holding him back more then anything. Then Altair left. Badr - whom he'd wriggled into his 'I care for you' books - was at Alamut, was out on messenger duty. But something felt wrong.
So it was when Abbas performed his coup he left, taking a group of loyal assassins, by which he classified loyal as those who were still loyal to Altair, going to hunt for Badr. He led them to attack the templar outpost where they'd discovered Badr was being held. Not knowing what else to do, with the other assassins he'd brought with him dead or fleeing back towards Masyaf once they'd ascertained that their brother had been saved, he took the decision to lead Badr away. Take him away from here.
So it was they wandered, him riding one of Badr's other horses - for he'd brought all the breeding stock he could tell was still true as best as he could, and Ya Bint al Hawa had stayed close to where her master was being held. They soon left Syria, left the whole arabic region, ending in Italy after some time, and stumbling upon Monteriggioni. Badr remained there, helping Mario training the new members of the brotherhood, and being trained himself to fight blinded by the mentor of the Italian branch. Amir checked back when he could, but he spent much of his time with Leonardo, learning new skills, exploring new paths of knowledge. It was during this time his thirst for knowledge was born.
The peace wasn't to last however, and once more when Monterrigoni was attacked and destroyed they once again wandered. During this second wandering, towards the end of it, Amir befriended some Romani Gypsies and they joined their company. He gained two Romani Vanners, for services assisting the tribe, helping them fix wagons, and helping in the protection of the tribe and vardos from attack.
He soon came to a conclusion however. They couldn't stay in Europe, or in Great Britain. They needed to move to a place unconnected to anywhere they'd resided before or hard to gain access to at least. So it was he decided that they would have to move to the New World that would become known as America. It took pursuasion to coax Badr to travel via ship on such a long voyage, and a lie was required to get him to agree to it.
Things were awkward for a while when the lie was discovered, but at the least they were on land now. He knew Badr would not desire to return by ship. So it was he set themselves up in a house, going out to find information as to where to go. Once he knew vaguely where he started to lead him (and their horses), the pair travelling in search of Davenport Homestead, though as they drew nearer and heard rumours he was more pensive - unsure just what they'd find.
